Adhesion-GPCR signaling in zebrafish
We are looking for a person to join the research unit FOR2149 aiming at the "Elucidation of Adhesion GPCR signaling". This unit combines 8 labs in 4 cities utilizing a large variety of model systems (zebrafish, drosophila, C. elegans, mice) and technologies. The offered position is to elucidate the role of GPR126 during heart development utilizing the zebrafish model in the group of Prof. Felix B. Engel (Patra C et al., 2013, PNAS). The group is international and consists at the moment of 2 postdocs, 3 PhD students and 3 technicians. The applicant needs to have a masters degree in biology, biochemistry, molecular medicine or comparable, needs to speak fluent English and to have experience with molecular biology and should have some experience with zebrafish.
