We are seeking for independent, ambitious, and self-motivated candidates for a postdoctoral fellow position to develop novel therapeutics and molecular diagnosis for cancer treatment. Our laboratory focuses on translational cancer medicine, particularly genotype-directed therapy. We employ molecular, cellular, bioinformatics tools, and animal models to develop innovative cancer therapeutics, design rational drug combinations, and identify predictive biomarkers. On the basis of our prior studies, the candidate will lead projects focused on emerging epigenetic regulators that have important functions in cancer.
The candidate is expected to have his/her doctoral degree awarded in a biomedical research-related discipline, and demonstrate a proven track record of high-quality scientific research, as evidenced by publication record and letters of recommendation. Experience in epigenetics and cancer genetics is preferred.
To apply, the applicants should send a cover letter explaining their research interest and career goals, an updated CV, and contact for 2 or more referees to jialiang.wang@vanderbilt.edu. Successful candidate will receive salary and benefits commensurate with prior experience and qualifications.
