PhD student at the Max-Delbrueck-Center for Molecular Medicine in
Berlin
The position is available from March 1, 2015 and needs to be filled by
May 2015.
The project involves the work on animal models for human disease.
Job Description:
We are looking for a, highly motivated, and career oriented graduate
student, preferably with a strong interest in the regulation of
alternative splicing, cell biology, and translational research.
Experience with either of the following techniques is a plus: Tissue
culture, transcriptomics, animal experiments (mouse), cardiology,
experimental and computational approaches in molecular biology and
systems biology.
Prerequisites:
Master degree or diploma (top 10% of class).
Theoretical and practical knowledge of molecular and cell biology.
Fluent in English.
Strong interest in biomedical research and ability to work goal-
oriented (independently and in a team).
