Post-Doctoral Scientist Position in Hepatitis Research Laboratory at Institute Pasteur Korea : Seongnam-si, Korea, South

The Institute Pasteur Korea (IP-K) is seeking a highly motivated and productive Post-Doctoral Scientist to join the Hepatitis Research Laboratory.

• Position: Post-Doc/Scientist in Hepatitis Research Laboratory (HRL)

1. Job Description
- Identification and characterization of novel HBV small molecule inhibitors as well as cellular factors involved in the viral life cycle by using the recently described infectious cell culture system and chemical genomics and RNAi approaches
- The selected candidate will be expected to work innovatively using novel methods and technologies and to effectively present the results for publication.

2. Requirements
- Ph.D. degree in Virology, Molecular biology, or a related field.
- Molecular virology, Assay development expertise will be preferred.
- Experience in the preparation culture of primary human hepatocytes in drug discovery and innate immunity will be an advantage.
- Well-organized, have the ability to work independently
- Cooperatively with a high degree of accuracy, maintain clear and complete records.

3. Conditions of employment
- Working Hours: Mon. to Fri. ㅣ 09:00 ~ 18:00
- Salary will be competitive and commensurate with experience.
- The selected candidates are entitled to get housing benefit.
- Leave: 2days/a month
- Stimulating environment for translational sciences and a well-equipped research platform, including biosafety level 2 and 3 facilities.
