We seek a full-time scientific programmer to continue the development of the existing SBGN-ED software (http://sbgn-ed.org). The project runs for 15 months. The project goals are to support the latest version of a graphical standard for network visualisation, SBGN, and to extend the functionality of the software.

Requirements:
* Recent Java development experience, particularly with the creation of GUIs and libraries
* Demonstrable experience of working across a range of technical systems together with the willingness to learn new technologies (e.g., Unit, Integration testing, Ant, Maven build tools, Version control systems (Git), Web services).

Deadline for applications is May 18, 2015. The intended starting date is June 15 2015, but the exact starting date is negotiable.
