PhD & Postdoc positions in Organic Chemistry : Aachen, Germany

PhD and postdoc positions are available in organic chemistry in the research group of Prof. Dr. Franziska Schoenebeck at the Institute of Organic Chemistry at the RWTH Aachen University in Germany.

The emphasis of the Schoenebeck group is on understanding reactivity and mechanisms, ultimately seeking the design of new catalysts and the development of novel applications in organic, bioorganic and materials chemistry. A particular emphasis is in the area of organometallic catalysis. Experimental organic chemistry and state-of-the-art computational methods are applied in the group for studies.

The successful candidate will have the opportunity to receive a dual training in experimental (synthetic and mechanistic) as well as computational chemistry in a highly stimulating and challenging research environment.
