The PhD position is to be awarded under a new interdisciplinary DFG project, which will be carried out in close cooperation with the Institute for Solid State Physics, University of Ulm. Based on the joint preparatory work should be studied in the project, such as human mesenchymal stem cells (MSCs) and osteoblasts through interaction with different nanoscale patterned surfaces in their behavior can be influenced. The project aims to help clarify cell-biological interactions in the field of "Nanobiointerface" of implant materials. Methodologically, the dissertation includes a wide range of modern cell and molecular biological and morphological techniques (including live-cell imaging).
We are conducting a / n PhD student / in with a degree in biology, biochemistry and molecular medicine, determination and ability to work independently in a team. The / Candidates / in should have experimental knowledge of cell and molecular biology techniques and set itself the challenge to achieve excellence.
