In the Laboratory of Molecular Cardiology Department of Medicine 2 (Cardiology / Angiology)
the University Clinic of Erlangen-Nuremberg is the earliest possible date, the site of a / a Postdoctoral fellow / postdoctoral (E13 TV-L).
Fields to be filled for an emerging initiative TOPbiomat project. The position is initially for 1 year.
The aim of the overall project is the basic research and development of cell-based organ structures, such as of bone and blood vessels. Based on a combination of new production methods for three-dimensional scaffolds with bioactive materials, specific growth factors and patients' own cells to the micro-anatomical structure of bone and blood vessels are modeled.
Responsibilities:
-Supervision of the isolation of HUVEC and SMC as well as the preservation of cells in a cell bank,
- Establishment of a range of methods for the study of histocompatibility,
- In vitro study of the activation of endothelial cells and on different Endothelschichtstabilität biotechnologically produced scaffolds.
We offer an interdisciplinary environment, and access to a broad experimental infrastructure of cooperating research groups.
Requirements:
- Extensive experience in the cultivation of eukaryotic cells and immunological assays to detect the histocompatibility of tissues in Transplantation Medicine; knowledge of molecular biological, immunological and biochemical techniques.
-PhD in biology or medicine with a focus on immunology.
