This position is - fill with half the normal weekly working hours limited to three years - subject to the release of funds. An extension has been announced. We offer a varied and challenging position within the research projects in our department, which deals with the identification and functional characterization of disease-related genes / proteins in the cardiovascular. Your tasks:
• Participation in projects that deal with the functional characterization of genes and genetic loci that have been identified during genome-wide association and expression data
• Using different molecular and cell biological methods (including real-time PCR, western blots, cell culture experiments, cloning)
Your profile:
• completed academic higher education (diploma or master) in biology, biochemistry, biomedical sciences and human biology
• In-depth molecular and / or cell biology experience
• advantage: experience with cell culture work and gene expression analysis
• Interest in the experimental laboratory work
• teamwork skills, initiative and enjoy working
