The Research Training Group vivid “in vivo models for human metabolic diseases in düsseldorf ”

currently awards 1 PhD Scholarship or 1 MD Scholarship for highly qualified and motivated doctoral researchers in Biology, Biochemistry or affiliated Topics or 1 MD Scholarship in the German Diabetes Centre, Prof. Michael Roden Group (see Institute for Clinical Diabetology at www.ddz.uni-duesseldorf.de).

We offer 1 scholarship for an excellent student (Master of Science or Diploma degree) who wants to start her/his scientific career within this program. Moreover, we would like to encourage medical students to apply for a 12-months scholarship in order to perform an experimental Doctoral Dissertation.

All students performing their Doctoral Thesis within “vivid” will participate in the Integrated Research Training Group, which offers an additional and international training in key methods and theory in the field of metabolic diseases.
