Cellular and In Vivo Neurobiologists : San Francisco, United States
Alector LLC (alector.com) is a privately-funded, broad-based, neuroscience biotech startup located in the San Francisco Mission Bay. We are looking for exceptional scientists, senior scientists, and director-level investigators with a PhD and/or MD, an outstanding publication and track record, and a drive to innovate. Cellular and In Vivo Neurobiologists: The candidates must have broad expertise in molecular, cellular and in vivo neuro-biology, including the ability to isolate, culture, maintain, and characterize rodent primary neurons and microglia.
Requirements
Extensive knowledge and expertise in:
- Rodent brain anatomy
- In vivo neuronal and glial analyses using immunohistochemistry and in situ hybridization
- FACS analysis
- ELISA
- Microscopy
Previous experience in neuro-immunology and/or in cellular immunology would be advantageous. …
