Two postdoctoral positions in biophysics and/or molecular nanotechnology are open for 2013 with possibility of extension. An exact job project description is not defined but the candidate is asked to suggest in detail 1-3 projects that he/she would be interested in pursuing and which would fit well into the portfolio of the Laboratory (see recent publications by Nordén).

The successful candidate has a well documented scientific experimental and/or theoretical skill in biophysics/physical chemistry and/or nanotechnology, as verified by publications and by recommendation letters from internationally outstanding scientist(s). The application should include a “Letter of intent” in which the applicant elaborates on a few problems to address, and how, and motivates how his/her educational and scientific background would match these demands, and how the project(s) would fit the directions, expertise and equipment of the Laboratory. Any comments regarding independence, including examples of his/her own initiatives during the PhD work are also welcome. The call will close by the end of the year but earlier submissions will be dealt with as they arrive.
