Applications are invited for a PhD student position in the field of cancer and the cell cycle.
Our group studies the DREAM multiprotein complex that play an important role in the regulation of the cell cycle. The project will focus on the question how DREAM regulates key mitotic events with an emphasis on the mitotic spindle checkpoint and genomic stability in lung cancer.
In our research, we use state of the art technologies such as high content RNAi screening, ChIP-seq and advanced animal tumor models. The PhD student will be part of a Graduate School, which offers interdisciplinary practical training, summer schools and retreats, mentoring by a thesis committee of three experts in the field, and a highly stimulating research environment.
