PhD position on translational regulation in inflammation (Frankfurt)
Open PhD position in RNA Biology in the lab of Dr. Tobias Schmid at the Institute of Biochemistry 1, Faculty of Medicine, Goethe-University Frankfurt.
Our group is interested in the mechanisms of post-transcriptional regulation in inflammatory diseases. To this end, we have established a broad panel of recently developed, innovative methods (including Ribo-Seq, iCLIP, PAR-CLIP) in the lab.
As part of the Institute of Biochemistry 1, we have unlimited access to a wide-range of state-of-the-art technologies (including Next-Generation Sequencing, FACS sorting, Vectra imaging) and are constantly seeking to expand our methodological repertoire.
We expect:
