Postdoctoral Position: Covington, LA, United States
A postdoctoral position is available in the laboratory of Dr. Huanbin Xu at Tulane National Primate Research center. The lab is an NIH R01 funded research group working on novel anti-HIV therapy, and cell development in SIV-nonhuman primate model. The translational goals are to eradicate the HIV reservoirs with novel therapeutic strategies and pathogenesis in AIDS.
Preferred applicants for this exciting research should have a doctoral degree (PhD), and individuals who have enthusiasm about science, high motivation, creativity as well as productive ability are highly desirable. Candidates with a strong background in immunology, molecular biology, and signal transduction are strongly encouraged to apply. Candidates will conduct independent research requiring the use of research animals, as well as collaborate with research staff in experimental design, data analysis and manuscript writing.
