Postdoctoral Position in Cancer Research
A Postdoctoral Fellow position is available in the Department of Pharmaceutical Sciences at the University of Oklahoma School of Pharmacy. The postdoctoral fellow will be involved in multidisciplinary, collaborative projects investigating mechanisms and therapeutic strategies targeting tumor microenvironment and metastasis.
Ideally, the candidate should be self-motivated, have a Ph.D. degree in pharmaceutical/biomedical sciences, pharmacology, biochemistry, engineering or related fields. Familiarity or prior experience in experimental techniques such as molecular and cellular biology, tissue culture, and antitumor activity evaluation in rodents is highly desired. The successful candidate will acquire experience in animal-to-human translational research, including early phase clinical trials. Individuals who want to expand their knowledge into pharmaceutical sciences and quantitative systems pharmacology to depict and predict responses of solid tumors to anticancer agents are highly encouraged to apply.
