POSTDOCTORAL POSITION in Molecular Neurobiology are available at Northwestern University School of Medicine in Chicago to study the roles of recently-identified psychiatric disease susceptibility genes in synaptic pathology. Strong background in molecular and cell biology or neuroscience is required. Enthusiastic applicants with a recent Ph.D. and experience in advanced imaging, molecular biology, or cell biology are strongly encouraged to apply. The lab employs a multidisciplinary and multilevel approach to understand the synaptic substrates of mental disorders, and has consistently published in top journals, including Nature Neuroscience, Neuron, PLOS Biology, Molecular Psychiatry, and PNAS.
