Shanghai Jiao Tong University, one of the top universities in China, is undertaking a major expansion aimed at becoming one of the world’s leading centers of scientific research. As part of this expansion program, it has recently established Renji Stem Cell Research Center (http://stemcell.renji.com), which is designed to be a platform for conducting first-rate research, education and scientific exchange across the entire spectrum of biomedical sciences. We are looking for interested and motivated postdoctoral fellows to do their research in cardiovascular cell biology. Specifically, our research approaches combine extensively in vitro, ex vivo involving cells isolated from human materials, and pathological animal models, which integrate modern molecular and cellular methods to clarify the adaptive mechanisms of cell biology and the impact of these cellular mechanisms on the outcomes of cardiovascular diseases.
