PhD positions in Molecular and Cellular Biology / Biochemistry / Structural Biology: Tübingen, Germany
The Department of Biochemistry studies the molecular mechanisms underlying post-transcriptional gene regulation, including translational regulation, mRNA quality control, mRNA degradation and miRNA-mediated gene silencing. We use an integrative approach combining molecular and cellular biology with biochemistry and structural biology using modern instrumentation and facilities in the institute.
We are looking for highly motivated candidates who are enthusiastic to work in an ambitious and multidisciplinary team. A key requirement for the positions is expertise in molecular and cellular biology, biochemistry and/or structural biology. A background in RNA biology or experience in protein expression, purification and crystallization will be considered an asset.
