Postdoctoral Fellowships in Epithelial Cell Biology & Gastrointestinal Neoplasia : Nashville, TN, United States

Postdoctoral fellowship positions are immediately available within the Vanderbilt Epithelial Biology Center. The Center is dedicated to the multi-disciplinary study of intra- and extra-cellular trafficking and signaling, establishment and maintenance of epithelial polarity, and the role of intestinal stem cells in health and disease.

Positions are available through a long-term, NCI-funded research award to study 1) normal and cancer stem cells in the colon using unique mouse models and single cell technologies, 2) novel modes of drug resistance using a newly developed 3-D culture system, and 3) cell-cell communication via exosomes and their contents.

Individuals with prior experience in mouse genetics and/or high-resolution microscopy are especially encouraged to apply.

We offer a salary that is commensurate on experience plus a benefits package.
