Research Postdoctoral Fellow Molecular Immunology Cell Signaling Cancer Immunology: Dallas, TX, United States
The Baylor Scott & White Health (BSWH) Research Post Doctoral Fellow performs various laboratory procedures, basic research, lab maintenance and administrative duties under the general supervision of the Scientific Director or Principal Investigator. Our Post Doctoral Fellow will develop and work on a mutually agreed upon project that promotes the research goals of BSWH.
This position will study ubiquitin pathways in immune regulation and inflammation at the Baylor Institute for Immunology Research (BIIR) and the Sammons cancer center in Dallas, TX. We use mouse models of human cancer and autoimmune diseases. The project involves cellular and molecular immunology, protein chemistry, cell signaling and molecular biology. Required Skills:
§ Doctorate Degree required.
§ Experience with molecular cloning, site directed mutatgenesis, expression of proteins in eukaryotic and prokaryotic system, ELISA, Flow cytometry, Immunoblotting, immunoprecipitations, molecular modeling of proteins, protein-protein interaction studies, transcriptional regulation of cytokine expression and experience in mouse handling.
