The applicant should have a very solid background in cell and molecular biology. The applicant is expected to contribute to the supervision of PhD/MD students and should be willing to become engaged in animal experiments.
The department is engaged in cancer stem cell biology as well as in exosome research.
We have great experience in the field of tumor metastasis, particularly with CD44 variant isoforms as metastasis promoting gene as well as with tetraspanins and their importance in exosomes. We are a dynamic, very friendly and helpful team, where it is easy to integrate also offering a chance to further improve your skills. Fluent English is required as it is the preferred language in the lab.
The position is currently available for 23 months.
