Postdoctoral Fellowship, Cancer Immunology
An exciting postdoctoral position is available at the Dana-Farber Cancer Institute, Harvard Medical School. Our goal is to discover key negative regulators that inhibit T cell function in the tumor microenvironment. Toward that goal, we have developed a novel in vivo RNAi approach for discovery of key inhibitory genes within T cells. We aim to perform a mechanistic evaluation of discovered genes and examine their suitability as therapeutic targets. Dana-Farber offers a highly stimulatory intellectual environment for cutting-edge cancer discovery research. A recent PhD is required, with prior experience in immunology, molecular biology and/or mouse models of cancer. Please visit our website (http://research.dfci.harvard.edu/tcell/) to learn more about the lab and send your application to kai_wucherpfennig@dfci.harvard.edu.
