A three-year PhD fellowship is available from September 2013 onwards for candidates who received training in molecular biology, biochemistry or biotechnology. Experience with either yeast or mouse as experimental model organisms would be an advantage. We seek highly motivated candidates who wish to explore the roles of long non-coding RNAs in the mechanism of action of a widely used anti-cancer drug. Work will be carried out at Inserm Unit 1085 IRSET located on the Beaulieu Campus of the University of Rennes 1 (www.irset.org). Candidates are asked to submit their CV, a publication list, a letter outlining their career perspective, and contact information of two references to Michael Primig (michael.primig@inserm.fr) no later than August 31, 2013. Successful candidates will be evaluated by the University’s life sciences doctoral school before admission into the PhD program.
