We are looking for two PhD students with background in molecular biology, genetics and/or biochemistry to perform cancer research using animal models of myeloid leukemia. The positions are available at the Ludwig Boltzmann Institute for Cancer Research, in Vienna (http://lbicr.lbg.ac.at/). We are focused on targeting myeloid neoplasms, particular inhibiting the function of important transcription factors of the Jak-Stat pathway in leukemogenesis. The successful candidate will be integrated into our multidisciplinary team within SFB-F47 funded by the FWF:

Description
Good communication skills, ability to lead an ambitious project and the will to gain independence in experimental planning and work are required. The candidate will participate in seminar series and international meetings to further skills and knowledge.
