We are looking for exceptional candidates in the field of tumor biology particularly focusing on kinase signalling pathways in response to DNA damage in cancer cells and (cancer) stem cells. The projects aim to elucidate novel molecular mechanisms of cell fate control after DNA damage.

Candidates should hold a MSc in Biology, Biotechnology, Biochemistry or Molecular Medicine. Applicants should have experience in molecular biology and cell biology. Knowledge of the German language is advantageous but not essential. Good written and spoken English skills and the capability for interaction and team work are required.

The research project is embedded in the Collaborative Research Center 1036 (SFB 1036). The successful candidate will be integrated in the Helmholtz International Graduate School at the Cancer Center at the DKFZ.
