A position is available for a project focusing on the transcriptional/epigenetic mechanisms mediating cardiac protection. We are taking advantage of mouse pathophysiological models, genetically engineered mice, immunohistology, confocal microscopy, cell culture, and state-of-the-art molecular and cellular biology techniques to define the role of signaling complexes and non-coding RNAs promoting cardiomyocyte survival.
Applicants should hold a Masters degree in biology, biochemisty, or a related discipline.
We are seeking highly motivated students with good background in molecular biology, biochemistry, and cardiac physiology. Good English writing skills, strong communication and interpersonal skills, and ability to work independently are expected.
