Postdoctoral Fellowship, Genetics of Hematological Malignancies : New York, NY, United States

Postdoctoral position is available for highly motivated scientist interested applications of next-generation sequencing approaches to identify clinical biomarkers in hematological malignancies. Our group has extensive experience in development of genetic assays and translation of such assays into clinical practice. Our laboratories have state of the art next generation sequencing technologies, bioinformatics infrastructure, and access to clinical specimens for discovery and validation of novel biomarkers in a clinical setting.
The successful candidate will apply next generation sequencing technologies to address clinical problems in hematological malignancies. The possible applications will include comprehensive genetics analysis leukemias and lymphomas, development of orthogonal technologies to validate genetics findings, and technology development for minimal residual disease detection. 
Ideally, the candidates should have a Ph.D. with a strong background next generation sequencing technologies and cancer genetics, and a good understanding bioinformatics as applied to next generation sequencing technologies.
