Postdoctoral Position Cancer and Developmental Biology : Irvine, United States
Additional postdoctoral position is available immediately to study developmental aspects of melanoma initiation and progression using human primary melanoma tumor samples and mouse models. Candidates ideally would have experience in mammalian tissue culture, molecular biology and live animal handling. Experience in screening and designing RNAi libraries,FACS, immunohistochemistry and microscopy analysis is strongly preferred. Candidates with a background in cancer and developmental biology or skin regeneration are highly encouraged to apply. The successful candidate will have a demonstrated ability to be a leading author on a per-reviewed publications, provide innovative solutions to complex problems, and have the ability to apply and receive fellowship/scholarship awards. Candidate will work with an interdisciplinary team of scientists associated with Sue and Bill Gross Stem Cell CIRM Institute and the Chao Family NCI designated Comprehensive Cancer Center at UC Irvine.
