The Institute of Neuroanatomy invites applications for
a PhD POSITION
(Closing date, 15th of February 2014)
The research interest of our newly established group is focused on chromatin regulation of neural development by applying a combination of genomic, proteomic approaches, advanced imaging and mouse genetic manipulation techniques (Tuoc et al., 2008 Gene & Development; Tuoc et al., 2013 Developmental Cell). The potential project will address the role of BAF chromatin remodeling complex and its interacting partners in regulation of neural differentiation and neuronal reprograming.
Candidates should hold a MSc, diploma or equivalent degree in biology or biochemistry with a strong background and laboratory experience in biochemical and molecular biological techniques. The willingness to work with mouse model is required. A good command of spoken and written English is necessary.
