Postdoctoral Associate - Systems Immunology : New Haven, CT, United States
Yale University School of Medicine, Department of Pathology, is seeking a highly motivated postdoctoral associate to work in the area of systems immunology. The focus of research will be on the development and application of methods to define temporal signatures of human infection and vaccination responses (including gene expression, cell population and cytokine levels), with a particular emphasis on influenza. The successful candidate will join the Kleinstein lab at Yale, and collaborate closely with the Human Immunology Project Consortium (HIPC) and other experimental/clinical groups as part of an interdisciplinary team. The ideal candidate will have strong quantitative and programming abilities, along with a demonstrated interest in applying these skills to problems in biology. A Ph.D. in a quantitative discipline is desired (Bioinformatics, Computer Science, Statistics, Physics, Applied Mathematics, etc.).
