PhD student position (Dresden, Germany)

A PhD student position is available at the Department of Clinical Pathobiochemistry (Head: Prof. Dr. T. Chavakis), University Clinic Dresden, Technical University of Dresden.

The biomedical campus of the Technical University Dresden provides an excellent research environment in Molecular Biosciences including the Medizinisch-Theoreotisches Zentrum (MTZ) and the DFG Research Center and Cluster of Excellence, Center for Regenerative Therapies.

Our group focuses at the crosstalk between Immunology, Vascular Inflammation and Metabolic Diseases. Experimental studies will be conducted in the field of vascular inflammation in the context of (i) autoimmunity, (ii) metabolic diseases, particularly, adipose tissue inflammation, insulin resistance development and hepatosteatosis (iii) atherosclerosis.
