Ph.D. Student Position in Biochemistry
The Laboratory of Molecular and Cellular Biology of Alzheimer’s Disease (http://fraering-lab.epfl.ch/) at EPFL (http://www.epfl.ch) is seeking an outstanding and highly motivated PhD student for a project with focus on g-secretase, an intramembrane-cleaving protease implicated in the pathogenesis of Alzheimer’s Disease.

Requirements/qualifications:
Successful applicants must have a strong background in Biochemistry and a strong interest in structure-function relationships of proteins. A first experience in the fields of protein purification and mass spectrometry is an asset. Applicants must also have a high degree of motivation and creativity, excellent written and verbal communication skills and a demonstrated ability to work in a multi-disciplinary team of scientists.
