PostDoc in Vascular BioEngineering : Barcelona, Spain

A postdoctoral position is available on a project that focuses on the development and validation of new technologies to study cellular paracrine interactions in vascular systems. The proposed research will be mainly developed in liver vascular cells but will lately focus in other vascular systems like the cardiovascular, renal or ophthalmologic.
Background & skills
Previous working experience on cell lines and small animals is required. Knowledge on materials engineering, hepatology, molecular & vascular biology, and signal transduction is desirable but not mandatory.
Tasks
The hired Postdoc should be able to carry out experiments independently as well as work together with other lab personnel, and supervise Graduate students. The hired Postdoc will develop his/her research both at IDIBAPS and at CNM-CSIC.

The position consists in a 1-year contract (renewable up to 3 years) with gross salary according to the official stipend tables from CSIC.
